GenerateOrder Method (CheckoutService)

This creates the base order object / record without child data

Syntax

protected Order GenerateOrder( 
   Basket basket,
   int orderNumber
)

Parameters

basket: The basket to generate an order record for.
orderNumber: The number to assign to this order

Return Value

The order generated from the basket

Remarks

This is the first stage of the checkout sequence, following order generation all child data must be recorded. This method makes no alteration to the basket object.

Requirements

Target Platforms: Windows 7, Windows Vista SP1 or later, Windows XP SP3, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later), Windows Server 2003 SP2
