Sort<T>(IList<T>,Int32,Int32,IComparer) Method

Sorts an IList in place.

Syntax

[Extension()]
public static void Sort<T>( 
   IList<T> list,
   int index,
   int count,
   IComparer comparer
)

Parameters

list: The list to be sorted
index: The zero bases starting index of the range to start
count: The length of range to sort
comparer: An IComparer defining how to compare two items in the list

Type Parameters

T: The type of the list.

Requirements

Target Platforms: Windows 7, Windows Vista SP1 or later, Windows XP SP3, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later), Windows Server 2003 SP2
