Loads users that match a particular search pattern

Syntax

IList<User> FindUsersByName( 
   string searchPattern,
   NameSearchField searchField,
   bool includeAnonymous,
   int maximumRows,
   int startRowIndex,
   string sortExpression
)

Parameters

searchPattern: The search pattern to check against the user table.
searchField: The name field to check against the search pattern.
includeAnonymous: If true then the search results will include anonymous users as well
maximumRows: Maximum number of rows to retrieve.
startRowIndex: Starting index from where to start retrieving.
sortExpression: The sort expression to use for sorting the loaded objects.

Return Value

A collection of User objects matching the search criteria

Requirements

Target Platforms: Windows 7, Windows Vista SP1 or later, Windows XP SP3, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later), Windows Server 2003 SP2
