LoadForUserName(String,Boolean) Method

Loads a User object given the user name

Syntax

User LoadForUserName( 
   string userName,
   bool createMissing
)

Parameters

userName: User name to look up for
createMissing: Whether to create a new user if a user with given name does not exist?

Return Value

The user object loaded or null if user with given name is not found and is not created either

Requirements

Target Platforms: Windows 7, Windows Vista SP1 or later, Windows XP SP3, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later), Windows Server 2003 SP2
