IsUserInRole(User,String) Method

Gets a value indicating whether the specified user is in the specified role for the configured applicationName.

Syntax

public bool IsUserInRole( 
   User user,
   string roleName
)

Parameters

user: The user to check for
roleName: The role to check for

Return Value

true if user is in role, false otherwise

Requirements

Target Platforms: Windows 7, Windows Vista SP1 or later, Windows XP SP3, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later), Windows Server 2003 SP2
