ToDateTime(Object,DateTime) Method

Parses the given input value and converts it to a DateTime value.

Syntax

public static DateTime ToDateTime( 
   object parseValue,
   DateTime defaultValue
)

Parameters

parseValue: The input value to parse
defaultValue: The default value to return in case of failure to convert the given input

Return Value

The converted DateTime value

Requirements

Target Platforms: Windows 7, Windows Vista SP1 or later, Windows XP SP3, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later), Windows Server 2003 SP2
