WriteProviderLog Method

Records communication in App_Data/Logs/ folder

Syntax

public static void WriteProviderLog( 
   string providerName,
   string category,
   string message
)

Parameters

providerName: Name of the provider used for log file name
category: Category for the log entry. Commonly used to indicate whether this is data being sent to or received from the provider
message: The message data to record

Requirements

Target Platforms: Windows 7, Windows Vista SP1 or later, Windows XP SP3, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later), Windows Server 2003 SP2
