RemoveSpecialChars(String,Char[]) Method

Removes special characters and other undesired characters from the input string. Non ASCII characters are considered special.

Syntax

public static string RemoveSpecialChars( 
   string text,
   char[] undesiredChars
)

Parameters

text: The input text
undesiredChars: Array of other undesired characters that are not special but should be removed as well

Return Value

Input string without special and undesired characters

Requirements

Target Platforms: Windows 7, Windows Vista SP1 or later, Windows XP SP3, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later), Windows Server 2003 SP2
