Delete(TEntity) Method

Deletes an item from the database

Syntax

public void Delete( 
   TEntity item
)

Parameters

item: Item to be deleted

Remarks

This method should not be overridden. A child implementation can override the BeforeDelete/AfterDelete method to inject behaviors and these will be called automatically by NHibernate during persistence regardless of whether this Delete() instance method is called.

Target Platforms: Windows 7, Windows Vista SP1 or later, Windows XP SP3, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later), Windows Server 2003 SP2
